HOB0002 Benita Schwartz, 2001 soft cover, "Dawn Doll Official Encyclopedia and Price Guide" by Hobby House Press, 160 pages, packed with hundreds of mostly color pictures, information on Dawn and her history, as well as values as of 2001, is most up-to-date book on Dawn, her friends, and fashions, and accessories. There is also information on other dolls made by other companies similar to Dawn. (2) $25.00

NOT AVAILABLE IDE0011 Ideal P-93 Strung Hard Plastic Toni from the 1950s., nice coloring, rosy cheeks except small white spot on left cheek, pale blonde flip and bangs replacement wig. Her blue eyes open and close, has nice full lashes with shadow. She is wearing a 1950s plain aqua-blue cotton dress with attached panties that came with her (don't know if it is original, but it is from the period and fits her perfectly), dress buttons in the back; she is wearing 1950s vinyl white boots, includes aqua plastic rain coat from 1950s that came with her (it has tears at some of seams so it is thrown in), some of paint on left leg is lighter than rest, excellent hands and fingers. Despite the flaws that I have listed, she is in overall good condition and is a strikingly attractive doll in a larger size than most Toni dolls. Black coat with white fur collar that was made for her with matching tam with white fur pom pom, and long blue flannel nightgown. Both outfits were made for this doll in the 1950s and exceptionally well done, in excellent condition. The hat makes this doll gorgeous. $325.00 for doll, extra coat and hat, flannel gown

STD0014A Stowaway Chinese outfit for Danbury Mint 15" vinyl dress-up Shirley Temple doll. This is the Chinese streewear Shirley was wearing when the movie was beginning. In it she played Barbara Stewart, an orphaned daughter of missionaries to China, who was known as little "Ching Ching" who escaped aboard a steamer heading for America via Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Singapore. There she would find a loving home. The outfit includes a red silk-like blouse with high collar and rolled sleeves with blue cuffs over gold pants with blue floral appliqué cuffs, and blue silk-like slippers with red lining, certificate, stand, and certificate. Copyright 1991 20th Century Fox Corp. Approved by Shirley Temple Black. Outfits show high quality. Pre-owned by private collector but appears unused and in crisp, new condition. AVO0002 Avon 8" Avon 1983 Victorian Collector doll with stand is mint in cellophane (does not have her box) with metal stand. She has a bisque head with molded, sprayed blonde hair in a bob with molded blue ribbon, painted blue eyes, and a lovely sweet face, bisque hands and feet with molded and painted-on blue shoes with pink bows. Her body is cotton and polyester filled fabric. She is wearing a long white dress with pleated ruffles at h´mlin and on medium-length sleeves and collar, a blue ribbon at her waist and white duster cap decorated with pink flowers and green leaves. The Knowles Fine China Company has been creating fine china since 1854. She has a porcelain head, hands, and feet, and a stuffed clofh body. She has a blonde wig styled in curls with a side part and lavender bow, brown glass-like eyes, and a an impish closed mouth smiling expression. She is wearing a dress with a white top with floral embroidery on the collar and a blue, maroon, and purple floral print on dark blue skirt with white pocket with embroidered flowers, white under skirt, white stockings, and red shoes. MSD0001 1985 8 inch soft vinyl Lillian Vernon Ginny look-alike doll with a coated cardboard trunk set, plastic stand, three outfits, and 2 plastic clothes hangers. This doll is unmarked and looked almost exactly like the 8 inch soft vinyl Meritus Vogue Ginnys did that were marketed in 1984-1986. She has long rooted brunette hair styled in braids and moving blue eyes. She was designed as a play doll. She is wearing a pink and white striped dress with deeper pink rick-rack trim, white tights, a straw hat with a pink ribbon, and white plastic slip-on shoes. One extra outfit is a white dress, white panties, pink hair ribbon, white shoes, and pink edged white socks. The other outfit is a blue and white checked dress with red trim, a red straw hat, red plastic shoes, and under garments. A pattern for a simple 8 inch doll outfit is included.
